The Hancock Park estate was the final Los Angeles residence of the late Ozzy Osbourne.

The Los Angeles residence of Sharon Osbourne and the late Ozzy Osbourne has officially hit the market. Located in Hancock Park, just two miles south of Hollywood, the seven-bedroom, 11-bathroom home is listed for $17 million.

The Osbournes purchased the property from film producer Oren Koules in 2015. Originally listed at $18 million in 2022, it was briefly taken off the market after the family’s plans to move permanently to the U.K. were delayed.

Built in 1929, the house features a formal living room, dining room, wood-paneled library, home office, screening room, kitchen, family room, and breakfast room. Outdoors, the estate offers a dining area with a pizza oven and barbecue, landscaped gardens, and a swimming pool adorned with hand-laid mosaic tiles.

Realtor and Hancock Park resident Pete Buonocore describes the neighborhood as “one of the more prestigious areas around Downtown LA,” noting that many homes fall within a Historic Preservation Overlay Zone, preserving the character of the 1920s architecture.

Hancock Park has attracted many famous residents over the years, including Muhammad Ali, Antonio Banderas, Natalie Cole, Nat King Cole, Melanie Griffith, Jake Gyllenhaal and Maggie Gyllenhaal, Howard Hughes, Meghan Markle, and Lou Rawls.

A video from the 2022 listing showcases the home, including a Warhol-style pop art portrait of Ozzy Osbourne displayed in the dining room.
