Plus in Classic Rock 350: Smashing Pumpkins, Michael Monroe, Jay Buchanan, Joan Armatrading, B.B. King, Ten Years After, The Mission, The Boomtown Rats, Tyketto, Danny Francis, Peter Capaldi, and more.

Longtime fans of Classic Rock might be surprised to learn that this marks the first time in almost five years that Led Zeppelin has graced our cover.

It felt only right to showcase one of the most legendary rock bands in our 350th issue. This edition delves into the years 1972 and 1973, a period when Zeppelin truly dominated the rock world — or, in Jimmy Page’s words, were “the biggest unknown band in the world.”

We also sat down with Michael Monroe to talk about his career, and we’ve created a special Classic Rock x Michael Monroe bundle edition of this issue. It comes with a copy of his upcoming album, Outerstellar, plus an exclusive lyric card personally signed by Michael himself.

Additionally, we caught up with Leo Lyons of Ten Years After, who amusingly calls himself “rock’n’roll’s Forrest Gump,” explored Joan Armatrading’s process behind her acclaimed debut album, and celebrated the artistry of B.B. King with insights from Joe Bonamassa — and that’s just scratching the surface of what’s inside.
