The band’s latest studio release, Goat, arrived in October 2024 and continued their signature blend of psychedelic rock, world music influences, and heavy grooves.
In a review for Classic Rock, critic Mark Beaumont praised the album’s adventurous approach, highlighting opening track “One More Death” for its fusion of thunderous percussion, intricate rhythms, classic-rock-inspired guitar work, and Middle Eastern influences. He noted that the song demonstrates Goat’s talent for reimagining elements of classic rock and psychedelia into something fresh and contemporary, particularly during its explosive mid-song guitar breakdown, which he compared to the spirit and energy associated with legendary guitarist Jimi Hendrix.
