With the latest extension, the Eagles are now scheduled to perform a total of 72 concerts at the 20,000-seat Sphere in Las Vegas.
The Eagles have expanded their record-setting residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas once again, adding another round of performances despite previously announcing that their March 2026 concerts would mark the end of the engagement.
Since that announcement, the legendary country rock band has extended the residency several times. The latest addition includes four more performances scheduled for early 2027, further increasing the run.
Having launched the residency in September 2024, the Eagles are now expected to perform a total of 72 shows across 36 weekends. The final concerts are currently scheduled for Jan. 22 and 23, 2027.
Over the course of the residency, the group has entertained more than one million fans, setting the record for the longest engagement in the venue’s history. Their achievement surpasses the previous benchmark established by Dead & Company, who performed 48 shows between 2024 and 2025.
Promoters say the concerts combine the band’s timeless catalog with Sphere’s cutting-edge technology, creating an immersive live experience unlike a traditional arena show.
Since opening in 2023 with U2’s inaugural residency, Sphere has welcomed several major artists for extended runs, including Phish, Dead & Company, No Doubt, Kenny Chesney, Backstreet Boys, and the Zac Brown Band. Metallica is also scheduled to headline a 24-show residency running from October through March.
Meanwhile, reports continue to link several high-profile acts—including Guns N’ Roses, Tool, and Queen with Adam Lambert—to potential future residencies at the venue.
The Eagles are set to return to the Sphere stage for their next performance on Sept. 18.
