Dave Grohl and Jordyn Blum Step Out for Their First Red Carpet Appearance Since the Foo Fighters Frontman’s Surprise Baby News

The couple made their red carpet return at a charity fundraiser held in Los Angeles on Saturday, October 18.

Dave Grohl and Jordyn Blum made a rare public appearance together over the weekend — their first since the personal news that shook their 21-year marriage.

On Saturday, October 18, the 56-year-old Foo Fighters frontman and his wife, 49, stepped out for the Hope the Mission and Los Angeles Mission Present Hope in the City of Angels charity gala at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles. The event, which raised funds for the city’s homeless community, marked the couple’s first red carpet appearance since Grohl revealed in September 2024 that he had welcomed a fourth child “outside of [his] marriage.”

Blum looked elegant in a belted mini-dress paired with sandals and a chic updo, while Grohl coordinated in an all-black suit.

A video shared by a Foo Fighters fan account captured Grohl being honored at the gala for his volunteer efforts in Los Angeles. During the event, he pledged a donation to the nonprofit and auctioned off handwritten song lyrics to help raise additional funds.

The couple were last seen publicly at the 2025 Wimbledon Tennis Championships in July. They share three daughters — Violet Maye, 19, Harper Willow, 16, and Ophelia Saint, 11.

Grohl first shared news of his fourth child on Instagram in September 2024, writing:

“I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.”

He added,

“We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved as we move forward together.”

The revelation led to speculation about the couple’s future, with People reporting that Grohl had consulted a divorce attorney prior to his public statement. Sources told the outlet that Blum — a co-founder of an interior design firm — had known “for a while” about the child but was “shocked” when the news became public.

“Her friends are like family, and they rallied around her,” one source said at the time.

However, by late 2024, People confirmed the pair were working toward reconciliation. “It was just such a shock for Jordyn. Her first instinct was that she wanted a divorce,” an insider said. “But as weeks passed, she got some space to think, and it just felt too sad to her if the family split up.”

Nearly a year later, in September 2025, the couple appear to have found stability again. “She’s forgiven him,” a source told People. “They never really wanted a divorce — the idea of breaking up their family was too painful for both of them. They love their girls and are both devoted parents.”
