“The 63-year-old musician expressed his heartfelt appreciation, saying he’s incredibly thankful for the fans and his bandmates for their patience.”

Bon Jovi Announces 2026 ‘Forever Tour’ Following Jon Bon Jovi’s Vocal Recovery

Bon Jovi is officially returning to the stage!

On Wednesday, October 22, the legendary rock group revealed plans for their Forever Tour, kicking off next year — their first set of live performances since frontman Jon Bon Jovi’s vocal cord surgery in 2022.

The tour begins in July 2026 with four nights at Madison Square Garden in New York City before heading across the Atlantic for a series of shows in the United Kingdom.

Alongside the tour, the band will also drop a special collaborative release of their most recent album, FOREVER (Legendary Edition), featuring guest appearances from Bruce Springsteen, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, Robbie Williams, Avril Lavigne, and others.

“This announcement brings me so much happiness — the joy of being back on stage with my bandmates and sharing those nights with our incredible fans,” said Bon Jovi, 63, in a statement. “Every show is a shared experience. I’m fortunate to be the one holding out the light, but together, it’s all about the we that happens between us and the audience.”

The “Livin’ on a Prayer” singer continued, “I’ve expressed my gratitude many times, but it’s worth saying again — I’m truly thankful to our fans and my band brothers for their patience while I healed and got ready to perform again. I feel healthy, energized, and excited to hit the road!”

The comeback announcement follows Jon’s 2022 vocal cord surgery and subsequent recovery, which were both featured in Hulu’s 2024 docuseries Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story.

In an April 2024 interview with PEOPLE, Bon Jovi shared that he continues to work with vocal coaches and practices daily exercises to strengthen his voice. “Every day is part of the recovery,” he explained. “I can sing again, but doing it for two and a half hours, several nights a week — that’s still something I’m working toward.”

He also opened up about recording FOREVER (Legendary Edition), noting that while his voice was strong enough for studio sessions, he wasn’t yet ready for the physical demands of touring. “I couldn’t tour or promote the album the way I wanted to, so I reached out to friends who could help me bring these songs to life,” he said.

Bon Jovi described the project as “more than just a group of collaborations.” He called it “an album born from necessity and renewed perspective — proof that we all get by with a little help from our friends.”

“I feel immense gratitude and joy sharing this record,” he added. “It’s a reminder that there’s always something bigger than me — and that’s we.”
