Aerosmith and Yungblud Team Up with Steve Martin for Banjo-Enhanced “My Only Angel”
Aerosmith and Yungblud have unveiled a fresh version of last month’s single “My Only Angel.” Dubbed the “Desert Road Version,” this edition features banjo contributions from legendary musician and actor/comedian Steve Martin, who recorded his part remotely after Steven Tyler reached out to him.
This marks Aerosmith’s first new music since their 2012 album Music from Another Dimension!. The collaboration originated when Yungblud and the band reworked a version of his nine-minute track “Hello Heaven, Hello”, which evolved into a writing session for the upcoming One More Time EP, set for release on November 21.
The EP will also include three additional collaborations—“Problems,” “Wild Woman,” and “A Thousand Days”—as well as a new mix of Aerosmith’s 1977 classic “Back In The Saddle.”
Yungblud’s Idols World Tour is wrapping up its European leg. After four U.S. shows next month, he will head to Australia in January, with a full North American tour following the UK dates in April.
